Day 4

The Captain rose me from a deep slumber very early in the am (4:45 to be precise). I quickly got over it when I got to play a little outside in the snow. I love the snow. Some dogs are distracted by squirrels but I think I prefer this wonderful snow. She fed me and again let me have mostly free territory to watch over and walk around the house while she was gone. I rested until I was picked up and taken upon a ship to another part of the island where the beautiful grey women live. I played with Nesta in the snow and took the 4:15 return ferry. When I got back the Captain was vacuuming and unpacking a ton of boxes so I just went and layed on the second floor in my favorite spot watching over her. I was too tired to follow her around like I have been, but I am sure after she returns from her dinner meeting tonight, I will be rested and can resume my diligent watch.

P.S. I have been hearing things a little more around the island than usual, so I have been rushing to windows and standing at the top of the stairs barking in case it is someone trying to enter the house or see the Captain without my approval. I believe it is working.
